The Northern Customers To Get Better Coverage With New Tractors Malaysia Alor Setar Branch Opening

Heavy Equipment customers in the northern region especially around Kedah and Perlis will get greater coverage from the new Tractors Malaysia Alor Setar Branch. This newly opened branch will be able to offer its customers in the northern region wide variety of heavy equipment sales, product support, services as well as rental options.

Sime Darby Industrial Sdn.Bhd., under its Caterpillar dealership brand name Tractors Malaysia hosted the opening ceremony of its new Alor Setar Branch on January 21, 2009. On this wonderful day attended by customers of Tractors Malaysia Alor Setar Branch, at the Taman Perindustrial Kristal, Alor Setar, where the new branch facility is located, Mr. Chong Kwea Seng, Managing Director of Sime Darby Industrial Sdn.Bhd., together with Mr. David Low, Director of Branch Operations officiated the branch opening.

“Not so long ago, Tractors Malaysia established a new and comprehensive branch facility in Juru, Butterworth. Today, a little more than a year down the road, we are pleased to open a new facility in Alor Setar” said Mr. K.S.Chong, Managing Director of Sime Darby Industrial in his key note address. He continued that the branch is strategically located to enable customers in Perlis and Kedah to receive better services through wider field coverage and faster response as well as turnaround time.

The customers will be assured of efficient response time and better coverage through its four mobile team on call consisting of skilled technicians. These technicians are equipped with specialized tools like Caterpillar’s electronic technician to handle maintenance servicing and repair of the heavy equipment.

The Tractors Malaysia Alor Setar Branch will also be backed by Tractors Malaysia Juru Branch, located in Butterworth to provide additional support with its workshop facility for any major repairs if required.

The customers were greeted by the Tractors Malaysia sales personnel upon arrival at the registration counter before being ushered to their seats for the opening ceremony.

The ribbon cutting ceremony to officiate the opening of Alor Setar Branch by Mr. K.S.Chong, Managing Director of Sime Darby Industrial and Mr. David Low, Director of Branch Operations accompanied by the senior management team of Sime Darby Industrial Sdn.Bhd.

Customers were treated with a delicious set of northern dish for lunch after the ceremony and they enjoyed the variety of dished served.
